Preface
Most people know that there is a God, in fact the knowledge of God is planted in our souls before we are born.

The purpose of this publication is to unfold the glory of the God of Abraham and David, The Living God, to you the person who has experienced a spiritual awakening, or the young Christian, thirsting after Truth.
Our great Saviour, Jesus Christ, said:
If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
(John 7:37-38)

Who is the God that we wish to worship?

According to the Bible, God is the Creator, He created everything that ever was. He and the Spiritual Persons that we know as the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, did it together. They were with God in the beginning. They created everything out of nothing. Can you believe that the universe was created without there being any atoms? The very atoms had to be created first. Can you imagine how many millions of atoms there are in a grain of sand?
The scientists have a hypothesis concerning the creation of the universe that they call the big bang theory. From their observations they have noticed that the star clusters are moving away from each other in the same way as dust particles would in a bomb blast. Some mysterious force was needed to cause such a big bang. If a star is found to be moving in a different direction to the others, yet another external force must be responsible. That this will happen is foretold in Revelation 8:10-12. This means that the Person who stated that it would take place either was told about it or is the One who will cause it to happen.
Moving on from matter containing atoms such as our wonderful bodies, where it is stated that the human eye has many thousands of moving parts, let us imagine other matter even more wonderful, such as our souls, which are our wills, thoughts etc. that we can control; and our spirits, that God can control. All this is God created and as great as our God is, yet He knows how many hairs we each have on our heads. Isn't that wonderful? This is the God that we will get to know more of, and will realise with gratitude that He is righteous, holy, longsuffering and filled with lovingkindness. God is the very epitome of love. How fortunate we humans are to have a God such as this!
We must never lose sight of who He is when we come before our Maker in prayer and obedience.

When we become His and He becomes ours through an act of faith on our part, which in the Bible is called being born again, we must realise that we cannot make any conditions as to how we will worship Him. God makes the conditions and we can either accept His conditions or reject them. Our decision will result in where we spend forever, either in God-made heaven or God-made lake of fire. God lays out the options, we do the choosing. Just imagine, there will be no crime in heaven because those who have made it there did their best not to be criminals while in their earthly bodies.

Where suitable, verses from both the Old and New Testaments will be added to relevant teachings, as well as explanations where it is felt that this is necessary.

References in these pages are made using the Authorised Version of the Bible because the writer is confident of having been shown supernaturally that this is the translation that God requires to be used. Personal supporting documentation is available.

This publication is compiled for the young believer's edification and will not have the required effect if read in the same way as a novel. You will need to prayerfully study the teachings for falseness. We are so fortunate that God has left us the Scriptures to follow, it shows us that even though He is Almighty, the Highest of the high, yet He loves us and wants us with Him. Too many professing Christians rely on their preacher to tell them about God's will, believing that they are receiving the blessing, when the Bible teaches something different:
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
(Hosea 4:6)
God wishes that you find the Truth for yourself. It is actually an insult to Almighty God for you to learn about Him second hand. That is why we all have the Lord the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth.
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
(Philippians 2:12-13)

The Bible is not written in a dramatic manner like a Hollywood score, but matter-of-factly. God is found if He is looked for.
My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints. Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.
(Proverbs 2:1-9)

This means that we must each be a doer:
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
(James 2:19-26)

We must use the Bible in our search, not the work of some noted author whose word we might take as gospel because he has the gift of writing beautiful prose. There are many books written concerning being born again and the Blood Covenant, some of which are good, but the Bible is best. Search The Book and the Truth will be found, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
(1 Thessalonians 2:13)
As you diligently seek your Lord through His word, you will find some passages which have previously been studied, that suddenly have a deeper meaning, in a similar way to layers of paint that are removed from an old piece of mahogany furniture. You will discover that the Bible is a living word as the Holy Spirit manifests Himself through the printed page.

For example, 1 and 2 Corinthians were written to the church of Corinth at that time. It was a lesson to them then. The Lord has ensured that this and other books have been included in the Bible for our enlightenment today. This is to show us that God's likes and dislikes now are the same as they were then.
Exegesis - which is the critical interpretation of a text by some man - is in some circles taken out of all proportion to its importance. A good example of this is the use of Commentaries. One commentator's writings will conflict with that of another, proving that man cannot help you in finding God's truth, only God can.

How God speaks to us

While I dislike quoting from any other source than the Bible, here are some beautiful words authored by a man known widely as the prince of preachers:
He who would hear God speak needs not to wait long, for God speaks to men continually through the Scriptures, which are given to us by inspiration. Alas that we should be so deaf to its teachings! This wonderful volume, so full of wisdom, is so little read that few of us could dare to gaze upon its pages and say "O Lord, in this Book I have heard thy speech." At other times the Lord speaks by providence; both national providences and personal providences have a meaning, providences that are afflicting, and providences that are comforting, all have a voice; but alas! I fear that oftentimes to us providence is dumb because we are deaf. I am afraid few of you can say of it "O Lord, in providence I have heard thy speech." The God of heaven speaks to men by his Holy Spirit. He does this, at times, in those common operations of the Spirit upon the ungodly which they resist, as did also their fathers. The Spirit strives with men; he calls, and they refuse; he stretches out his hands, and they regard him not. Though we have ears to hear, we frequently quench the Spirit; we grieve him, we neglect his monitions, and if we do not despise his teachings, yet too often we forget them, and listen to the follies of earth, instead of regarding the wisdom of the skies.

The God that you will be shown is not the God of the Roman Catholics, Dutch Reformed, Methodists, Pentecostals or Charismatics, but the God of the Bible. There will be many teachings that you will love, some that will seem strange, some unpopular and a few that may frighten you. However, one thing that is sure, is that if you love God enough to want to be with Him and the Lord Jesus one day, you will need to find the Truth.

Not because you have to, but because you want to, out of love for your Lord.
The Blood Covenant is so intertwined with being born again that it is difficult to understand the one without the other, and knowledge of it is so vital that Lucifer (Satan) has done his best to hide it from most of us. If you don't understand the Blood Covenant you cannot remain obedient to Jesus, you cannot stay born again, you will die spiritually. That sounds very harsh doesn't it? And unfair, you are a good person - you don't steal or anything like that. Your priest says that you are going to heaven and he has studied at Bible College, so he should know. Are you sure? Would you buy a car on the recommendation of another without checking for yourself? This is much more important than buying a car. Wouldn't it be better if you made sure for yourself?
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
(Colossians 1:10-20)

May God bless you and cause His face to shine upon you as you read these words.
